TRAVEL AND LODGING
Q: Where do I stay when in Minneapolis?

A: Visit the Accomodations page for details on lodging and travel to/within Minneapolis/St. Paul.

How do I get the best airfare/what airline/airport is best?

Minneapolis/St.Paul International airport is the main terminal (Lindbergh Terminal) and we are a hub for Northwest Airlines. The airport is located approximately twenty minutes south of downtown Minneapolis.

Q: How do I get to downtown Minneapolis from the airport?

A: Taxis are available for around $25 to downtown Minneapolis. Public transportation is available, as the new Hiawatha Light Rail line extends from the airport to downtown Minneapolis. Visit
www.metrotransit.org for information.

All events take place in downtown Minneapolis, within walking distance of each other. Please visit the Calendar section for updates and locations

Q: What is the Judicial Clerkship Lunch?

A: The lunch will be held on Friday, August 15th at 11:45am and is an informal question and answer session with invited members of the judiciary. It is an excellent opportunity to speak with judges and learn more about the experience of clerking. All students are encouraged to attend.


Q: What is the reception?

A: The reception is held between 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, August 15th at Windows on Minnesota. All students are encouraged to attend, as representatives from registered employers and members of the judiciary will bei n attendance. Business attire is required. There is no program scheduled during the reception except for brief speeches, so you are free to come and go as your schedule permits.

Q: How do I register as an student?


A: Go to the Students page and click on the Symplicity link.

Will interview scheduling be done online?

A: Yes. Scheduling will be done via Symplicity.

Q: To whom is the conference open?

A: The conference is open to second and third year law students ONLY. Third year students graduating in the winter are accepted as well.

Q: Are late registration accepted?

A: Only in special circumstances. Students interested in participating after the schedules have been generated will be considered walk-in students.


INTERVIEW DAY INFO
Q: Where are the interviews held?


A: All interviews are held at the Crowne Plaza Northstar hotel. The hotel is located at 618 Second Avenue South in downtown
Minneapolis, 55402.

Note that even though Symplicity displays the term "on campus interviews," no MMRC interviews are held on campus. This is a fixed feature of Symplicity we cannot alter.

Q: Who are my interviewers?

A: Interviewer names are inputted by employers into Symplicity. Please be aware of your interviewers before you arrive.


Q: I have back-to-back interviews and am concerned about time.

A: Interviewers and students are informed that actual interview time is 20 minutes with a ten-minute break in between.

Symplicity currently displays "conflict" if you have back-to-back interviews, but please disregard this notification.
